Got asked by Bud Fawcett to design the 'Burn' model for Palmer Snowboards 10/11 range. Every year they get in a bunch of independent illustrators to create the new boards. I like that.
Humunculus is the brain child of myself and two very talented people, Miss Zosia Olenska and Miss Julia Marshall. The idea is to create cheap well illustrated, well made t-shirts and to sell them at a cheap price. The designs will be stenciled onto t-shirts with fabric paint with a huge range of colours. Still in the early stages but here's the logo I designed and one of my tees.
The cocktail bar/cafe/student haunt Dusk in York is my old place of work. I still keep in touch with the guys I worked with and one of the managers, my good friend Chris Trundle asked me to design the new cocktail menu. Here she is! Now go there and drink them please.
........and then I just pissed him off with a magnifying glass. Ooh the cheek. He was pretty cute so what else could I do but stamp on his little face?!
Ex Dum-Dums frontman Josh Doyle asked me to sort the artwork for his latest EP 'Values and Virtues'. Also did the logo for his tour tees and his tour posters. Nice. Really enjoyed this project as I'm quite a fan of his. Check him out.
A friend of mine knows Matt Drane, the creator of Dephect. So I got hold of him and he said to post some designs for review. A little too mental for Dephect we both decided but I like it none the less. Hopefully get the chance to do some more at some point.
Got asked by Finch guitarist Randy to design the tour merch for the band's winter '08 Uk tour. Pretty much got free reign on this one. It's nice when you can draw what ever you want isn't it?!
Two pro boards for the San Francisco based company One Love. The brief was pretty simple. Just do two boards for the pro's that flow into each other. This is the result. Check the vids on the site. They've got some great riders.
Here's a few boards that Andrew Reynolds wanted me to do for Baker. Still taking about bits and bobs. I was well excited. It's odd because I wouldn't consider my work very Baker but Reynolds says he likes it. Nothing's really come of the talks yet but still, Andrew bloody Reynolds! Sweet.
A few designs for the ill-fated organic t-shirt company Co7. It was a great idea by Joe Davies and we had some really good illustrators on-board. The illustration input came from James Davies, Simon Peplow, Vaughan Baker and myself. Everything was there it just never came together :( Shame.
