Hunter S. Thompson bits..........

Started making some bits for some sort of Hunter pic using my face. Not coming together too well at the minute but here are some loose elements anyways.

Just been invited to join the slayshTank riders coalition. Pretty stoked about that. Me and the art director Ty are working on an artists series for their 2010 apparel range. Sweet. Check 'em out.

Shit Skateboards

The board I designed for Shit pro Tonnesen has just gone into production. Check it out.

A project I had for my interview with the company Animal. The brief was to come up with a window for the new year which was loosely based around new years resolutions. I wanted to use some sort of 'mountain folk' imagery so I came up with my own versions of Wyncinanki which is Polish cutout art. For the new years resolution aspect I went with health and respiratory images as a ton of people always promise themselves they'll do something active. Nice.

Oooh yeah, thanks to my friend Tom for letting me use his awesome photos. You can check some more of his stuff at

Oh Deer.........

I was walking in Richmond Park and I saw this. I'm sure I could've helped him but I decided to draw the horrific scene instead. Besides, the bird looked sinister and scared me a little. It's almost certain I would've died if I'd intervened.

Palmer Snowboards

Got asked by Bud Fawcett to design the 'Burn' model for Palmer Snowboards 10/11 range. Every year they get in a bunch of independent illustrators to create the new boards. I like that.

Humunculus is the brain child of myself and two very talented people, Miss Zosia Olenska and Miss Julia Marshall. The idea is to create cheap well illustrated, well made t-shirts and to sell them at a cheap price. The designs will be stenciled onto t-shirts with fabric paint with a huge range of colours. Still in the early stages but here's the logo I designed and one of my tees.

The Sounds of Silence

Random thing that started from my head and grew into various squiggles. Has the awesome lyrics from The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel.

The cocktail bar/cafe/student haunt Dusk in York is my old place of work. I still keep in touch with the guys I worked with and one of the managers, my good friend Chris Trundle asked me to design the new cocktail menu. Here she is! Now go there and drink them please.

Also did some murals for the walls.

More for Finch!

A few more tee designs I found that I did for Finch's '08 UK tour.

It took me ages to get him to sit still.......

........and then I just pissed him off with a magnifying glass. Ooh the cheek. He was pretty cute so what else could I do but stamp on his little face?!

Josh Doyle!

Ex Dum-Dums frontman Josh Doyle asked me to sort the artwork for his latest EP 'Values and Virtues'. Also did the logo for his tour tees and his tour posters. Nice. Really enjoyed this project as I'm quite a fan of his. Check him out.

A friend of mine knows Matt Drane, the creator of Dephect. So I got hold of him and he said to post some designs for review. A little too mental for Dephect we both decided but I like it none the less. Hopefully get the chance to do some more at some point.

Finch's tour merch

Got asked by Finch guitarist Randy to design the tour merch for the band's winter '08 Uk tour. Pretty much got free reign on this one. It's nice when you can draw what ever you want isn't it?!

One Love Skateboards

Two pro boards for the San Francisco based company One Love. The brief was pretty simple. Just do two boards for the pro's that flow into each other. This is the result. Check the vids on the site. They've got some great riders.

Discussions with Reynolds!

Here's a few boards that Andrew Reynolds wanted me to do for Baker. Still taking about bits and bobs. I was well excited. It's odd because I wouldn't consider my work very Baker but Reynolds says he likes it. Nothing's really come of the talks yet but still, Andrew bloody Reynolds! Sweet.

Things I managed to get on the Volcom site

Just some things that got posted on the Volcom public art gallery. Always nice. Old....... but still pretty.

My friend Ben needed a logo type thing for his project at uni, so I gladly obliged.

Co7 t-shirts

A few designs for the ill-fated organic t-shirt company Co7. It was a great idea by Joe Davies and we had some really good illustrators on-board. The illustration input came from James Davies, Simon Peplow, Vaughan Baker and myself. Everything was there it just never came together :( Shame.

Check out the other guys though, they're amazing.

Some tee designs I did for Electric Visual
